Southeast Asia continues to gain sourcing activity

QIMA recorded 24% year-over-year growth in inspection and audit demand across Southeast Asia during 2025.

Vietnam increased 30%, Thailand 44%, Indonesia 13%, Cambodia 16% and the Philippines 13%. Demand from Latin and South American buyers for Southeast Asian inspections and audits increased by 61% year over year.

Diversification is becoming risk management

QIMA reports that tariff-affected companies were approximately twice as likely to diversify their sourcing. Among companies affected by tariffs, 39% increased buying volumes, compared with 24% among other companies.
